I got up at 6am this morning. Got my weight training in first, then I went for a long jog by myself

Talking 131lbs - One Pound Away From Goal

I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE SCALE THIS MORNING! 131lbs!? I had to weigh myself three times in disbelief. The last time I saw this number was the week I found out I was pregnant with Caleb. Now the hard part. . . keeping it off.

Bill and I will be lifting at our Elder's house this evening - so the details of my weight training are subject to change. He and his wife have invited us several times to workout with them. We've talked about working out atleast 2-3 times a week. I've put it off because I wasn't too sure about it. First of all, Caleb will be with us - which means we'll have to take turns watching him around all the equiptment. And secondly, depending on how long we take, Caleb will be going down later than usual. I decided to give it a try before I poo-poo the entire idea.

Well, I'm off to wake Master Caleb and hopefully get my jog in before it gets too hot. __________________________________________________________________

I got up at 5:30am today and worked chest/tri (wasn't able to do it on Thurs evening as planned). Then I went for my jog, alone. And finished off with Slim-n-6! So I'm free for the rest of the day! . I still can't believe, after all these years of yo-yoing up and down that I will finally see goal

I would love to start a lil weight training, bought this book but I don't follow written directions that well, but can do anything that I can see, I watched a couple of the exercises here in your Gym Log,

Bonjour mon amis!

I'm still holding at 130.5lbs - and very excited about that. But I'm even more excited about the HIIT training I started yesterday . Some of you may have already heard of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and it's ability to burn fat more effectively than low-intensity cardio, such as aerobics or jogging. Significant fat-burning effects can be achieved by applying the HIIT program three or four (4min-15min) sessions a week. I've committed myself to eight weeks of serious bodybuilding (heavier weights, less reps) and 4-8mins of HIIT (sprinting 30secs/jogging 30secs) 3 times a week (building up to 15mins of HIIT by week eight). At the end of 8 weeks I plan to see some muscles baby!

I've joined a bodybuilding forum so I may not be posting here as often. But I'll be sure to stop by everyone's journal from time to time to see how you guys are doing .

I want to thank a new friend, Steve , for educating me on the best way of shedding unwanted pounds while building muscle mass thru resistance training. Thanks mon ami, you're the bomb!

I got up early this morning to do personals and now I'm about to work back/bi (my favorite muscles to work) before Master Caleb awakes.

Yesterday's HIIT training went very well. I'm up to 9mins (I should be doing 6mins). Bill said my form is great - that I'm a controlled runner and I look like a professional sprinter . Him don't know. . . he just wuvs me

Today I plan to purchase more weights. I was not thrilled with last nights tricep workout. I just wasn't getting the burn in that muscle because I don't have the weights to do it. I know Bill is planning to buy me some equipment for my birthday, but I just can't wait until then (I know, I'm impatient). I don't plan to buy much. Just a couple of free weights and maybe a barbell.

Well, I'm off! Hope everyone is having a great start to the day!

I was pleasantly surprised when I got on the scale this morning and it read 128lbs! Okay . . . who am I kidding . . . I was freakin' beside myself when I saw 128lbs . . . not once, but 10 times! Yes, I weighed myself 10 times to be sure!

Actually, I hit goal on Friday, but didn't have time to post because we were running late for a weekend getaway.

I'm just so siked that I reached goal before my Vegas trip to celebrate turning 36 again (Did everyone catch that ).

Okay . . . so hubby has made a request - that I not lose anymore because I've lost too much from his most celebrated part of my body - my butt! The lunges, squats and sprints I'm doing will take care of that, in time.

My workouts are going well. I feel myself getting stronger. Especially my legs. They are hard as rocks. And I'm beginning to see more definition in my arms. But I'm most proud of the progress of my back. I've always felt that was one area of my body that stood out the most.

Anyway . . . I'm really doing my thing this time . . . with the help of my cyber-trainer . By Sept I hope to post some photos that show a significant amount of change.

Way to Go!! That is just wonderful. When I try to imagine hitting 130 I see myself running in circles screaming. Oh what a happy day THAT will be!
Sounds like you are doing great. I can't wait to see the pictures.
