I am so happy about your kangaroo pouch. It is nice to know that it will get smaller. I was worried about that. I have 2 kids and I remember my daughter whe she was small asking for another baby. She then said when you have another baby you will get another kangaroo pouch. I stopped at 2 kids. Have a great day

After years of my weight going up and down, I finally made the ultimate commitment to my woe. Today I had my wedding ring resized from a 9 to a 7 1/2. I will have to really make sure I don't gain the weight again so I can continue to wear my rings.

I had a bad day on Sunday, it has taken me until today to get back on track. It is not worth going off I have had a rough few days with all my committments. I did get some good advice stay away from the scale for a few days and get back on track. I did that and dont plan to blow it again. Loretta

This is not a "small" victory, but I didn't really want to start my own thread about it...

I just realized this morning, that I am only7 pounds heavier than I was on my wedding day!

I'm am so totally shocked. I don't think I realized how far I'd come. I was focusing on trying to get back to the weight I was 5 years ago, when we moved to VA (140) where I looked good, and now I realize that I'm actually pretty close to getting back to my wedding day weight, where I know I looked GREAT! 3 children, and I'm 7 pounds above my wedding day weight!

When I think back to how I looked, that day, Jan 30, 1999, I realize just how far I have come! I thought that I was "heavy" that day. I was pretty disappointed that I had gained about 10 pounds from my lowest weight ever just 6 months before, which I now realize was an impossible weight for me to maintain.

Today, I feel like I'm on top of the world, knowing that I'm just a few measly pounds away from that "wedding day weight."

I checked my measurements, and my waist, hips, and bust are each 2.5 inches down from what they were at my top weight of 156!

I am able to get my ten year annivserary ring off without using soap or lotion! or losing a layer of skin!

And, my boobs are staying inside of my bra like they're supposed to now, the wandering devils that they are...
