I could never get past the yelling. I wanted to put a muzzle on her whenever she appeared on my TV screen.

I loved some of her stories. Like when she put her son down on her front lawn and walked as far as she could and back before her son crawled off of the grass onto the sidewalk. (that's how she started moving) and when she described the way she was walking in the mall with her kids and noticed something different, and realized her thighs were not rubbing together anymore. We all have to remember that first time when your thighs didn't rub together~~

Didn't she have a HUGE cocaine addiction? That's what I seem to remember... that part of the way she stayed thin and kept that high energy level was through pretty hefty doses of cocaine? Or is that one of those urban myths?

She has come out and talked openly about her alcohol and drug addictions.

I really like her exercise video that I have. With RA, it's a workout that doesn't hurt me and it's easy to modify.

I gained weight with her program. I still have the cassette tape from it! That was YEARS ago! I got so sick following a high carb diet, severe hypoglycemia, horrible skin, breath, body odor, pms, you name it, it got worse with high carbs. One good thing though, the diagnosis of hypoglycemia led me to low carb!!

I know about the alcohol, she even wrote a book about it. Coke too, eh? Dreadful stuff, I've seen it totally ruin people. Fortunately for me, I never had that sort of money. I like the statement that "Coke is god's way of telling you that you have too much money!" It's a very expensive habit!
I bought the 2nd edition of "Stop The Insanity!", which does include fat photos, along with the story of her brother's betrayal. She is a good writer, it's a catchy sort of style. Looking at her website now, however,
she writes
everything
like this
as if
it were
a poem!
That, to me is pretty wanky, not to mention annoying!
PS:Speaking before about excercise builimia: My former sister-in-law went to a psychiatrist about her bulimia. He actually suggested that if she binged, to get up at 4am the following morning and walk for 3-4 hours. thankfully, my brother put a stop to that. I swear, some shrinks are crazier than their patients!

She must be a student of the William Shatner school of literature!

Her voice was like using a sand-paper Qtip on your ear drum.

There's something about the way Susan looks now that reminds me of Chris Crocker, except older. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVNS...feature=related

I followed her and never lost any weight. I got cardiac problems instead. My resting heart rate was like 120 beats per minute, and if i did anything i got sick and dizzy. It wasn't until i discovered lcing that my heart rate went back to normal. Also eating all those carbs made me eternally hungry. I could never get enough food.
