Supplements are not known to greatly affect lipid values, even niacin. Your values represent a lot of hard work on your part, and it shows that this diet does indeed improve health. What you've accomplished through diet alone, the pharmaceutical industry and most physicians deny is possible. Amazing, isn't it? Like you, I bet the trans fats and sugar are the main contributors to cardiovascular disease in this country, not saturated fat in the absence of each.
