It's weekly for me. I'm afraid I'd obsess if I weighed daily. I've been on Atkins since 12/6/01, weighed myself that Sunday night, & resolved not to look at the scale until next Sunday night. Part of the reason is that our scale is flaky; I can 'adjust' my weight through a range of about 5 lbs, depending on how far forward or back I lean, and I know the temptation would be to 'manufacture' losses everytime I stood on the scale, until the day came when I could no longer 'Limbo' into the bathroom . So far, good news every Sunday night.

I usually weigh myself every morning. I find it helps keep me on track, if it starts going up I know to watch what I'm eating more closely. I don't obsess about it at all. I know going up and down a few pounds is normal.

I have to admit, I'm a compulsive weigher. I'm working on this, trying to limit it to once a day.
One thing I've noticed - I always weigh 2-3 kilos heavier at night.

I'm aiming to only weigh once a day, at night.
I'm still at the stage where I can't really believe this is working, hopefully sometime down the track I can get it to only once a week

Best of luck Low Carbing

i weigh first thing every morning, record the number and then take the average at the end of the week and compare that with the average of last week to determine my loss (or gain). that way i don't worry about the daily fluctuations.

Thumbs up weigh anchors!

That's a pretty good compromise, Jesdorka; you get the entertainment of stepping on the scale( hey, I can't deny that it's interesting to watch--kinda like a slot machine ),without the concommittant dread you feel when it's an 'up' day. I might try that!
