I think some people might also use this as a general low GI forum too.
Being there isn't a separate place for that on the site.

That's why I said not to go overboard.
The only reason it says to avoid them is because of the saturated fat.
They have no carbs so, in moderation, they won't hurt your weight loss.

Jarred,
This is the South Beach forum...we do not eat pork rinds on the plan.

For the sake of all the newbies that read here, Atkins allows the use of pork rinds so if thats what you want to eat, please check out the Atkins food plan.

For Newbies who want to do South Beach, we do not eat pork rinds!!

The General Low Carb forum, that pstar gave the link to, handles all these other type of issues.

I'm sorry about that.
It's just that I'm doing my own plan that's a mix of SB and Atkins and sometimes I forget that this forum is strictly South beach.
I was just giving my opinion.
I'm very sorry if I offended anybody.

Not offended Jared!!

We just want to make sure that people get the correct information about South Beach.

I think its great that you are modifying the plans to make them work for you!! New people need to stay pure to this plan before they begin to play around with modifications.
