For the women that requested the numbers. I'm curious as to why you wanted me to run the numbers? Did the numbers make any sense for your body? I'm mainly curious because "I think" that the numbers are biased towards a male body.

So it looks like trainderdan and nomonic have the record for the potential of being the biggest. According to the stats it looks like nomonic will have the larger upper body, but trainerdan's legs will be bigger. But both will be around the same weight at 8% bf.

Also, someone pointed out to me that the info on the link I had isn't 100% accurate, according to him those old bodybuilders did use some forms of supplements, so perhaps these numbers aren't even close. He also pointed out that we shouldn't limit ourselves to these numbers. They are just that, numbers, and as we all know our bodies seem to go against the numbers for the good and sometimes for the bad.

Fromt he female vantage point, pure curiosity. 8% is an unreasonable (and unhealthy) bf% for a woman, but it gives us some idea of where the ballpark might be, ya know? It lets me look at my 25 inch thighs and think "Ok, less fat, more muscle, similar circumference", etc.

Stats like this just don't exist for women, so if we're curious at all, we're stuck looking at male formulae and tweaking. Better half-arsed numbers than none at all.

Thanks for the info!

Cheers,

Friday

I hear ya mle .. what's getting me is that I am not TOO far off from that weight/bodyfat (I am 220ish ~ 11% now), and my measurements aren't all that close. Especially my chest. LOL. I think I am pushing a 45" chest .. can't imagine what I would do with a near 60" chest. LMAO. Bump into alot of stuff I guess. <shrug>

I'll take the 18" pipes though.

When I get to 230 at 8%, I will meausure myself and let you know how it goes.

Great thread though man. I always wondered how big my frame would allow me to get.

fridayeyes, good point. It would be interesting to see what numbers came up for a female body builder that competed and was all natural.

Trainerdan, I didn't even register that number; 60" is huge! The closest that I could quickly find was Reg Park at 52". Arnold supposedly had around 58" but I'm not sure how "natural" he was.

I imagine that if you had a 60" chest most things would get out of your way before could bump into them. LOL

LOL. True, true. I don't see a 60" chest, or 34" thighs anywhere in my future though. Maybe a 50" chest and 30" thighs.

I am not that far off from hitting the max muscle number though. I'd have to lose 6.5 lbs. of fat and gain 10.5 lbs of lean mass.

Sounds like a good training goal for the year ... hmmmm ...

Wow! I’ve got a lot of work to do…..

weight 228.2859541 ** 214 ** -14.2

Chest 60.71415197 ** 45.5 ** +15.2
Biceps 21.03158196 ** 16.5 ** +4.5
forarms 16.83109957 ** 12 ** +4.8
neck 20.78363682 ** 16.5 ** +4.2
thighs 32.44397638 ** 24 ** +8.4
calfs 21.93860739 ** 17.25 ** +4.65

I can’t imagine hitting some of those numbers, especially the chest. If I did, the local tailor would love me. Good to know the potential is there.

Thanks mle good thread!

-Dave
