Thumbs up Dreaming!!

{Karen: Twelve views and no replies? } Just to give you an idea of where the views - or at least one view - could be coming from and why no replies. I peek in just to drool over what you lot are up to and to dream of the day when I will visit - as my visit is some way off I am a silent onlooker!! You do inspire me to follow suit nearer home.

Some years since I went singing Fa la la. Have fun.

Default what to bring??

I think I will make some Egg Crepe Rolls stuff with Shrimp, Crab and colorful peppers.

I am terrible at counting carbs in this recipe so I will try to use FitDay when I am making it and tell you all what carbs each piece is.

See you all on Dec 2, 2002.

after much debate & carb counting, i've (finally) decided on Country Pate

I wanted to keep the carbs to a minimum to be able to have whatever Karen is making for dessert

Since I'm coming by bus, and since I probably won't have time to cook, is it OK if I bring something simple? I was thinking of raw veggies and maybe one of my fabulous toe food dips, and maybe some soy chips for everyone to try.

Default Christmas get together food

I'm going to experiment this weekend with a roquefort creamy moussey type recipe. If it turns out all right, I'll bring it with some veggies suitable for transporting the stuff to the mouth.

Default .... working ....

1 of 2 things I'll be bringing:

Sweet n Sour Radishes

Still cogitating on the 2nd item, but I suspect it needs to be very, very green.

Way cool, I'm really looking forward to this.

Hi Rachel...

I'd be more than happy to pick you up! Besides...I don't have a clue where I am going so you could help me out with directions. What do you think?

Marlaine

P.S. Anyone else need a ride? I'm in North Van, but I don't mind doing a few pick-ups.

Allo!

Just to keep you updated, there will be about 15 people at our soiree, and two, but possibly up to four low-carb dogs.

I get first dibs on the prime rib bones. You'll have to fight the dogs for the rest!

Hi, Marlaine, thanks! Since you're coming my way anyway. I'll PM you with contact details.

You're asking the directionally challenged for directions - bad move! But I have a map.

See ya Sunday!

Rachel
