Talking I made a patio booking for 6 people...we can squeeze more or less as needed.

I know the owner & all the staff, My hubby has worked there for like 4 yrs, and no, he won't be cooking that day, but the other cooks are just as great, if not as sexy! -LOL!
C'ya there.
PS there are directions to Ferris' in earlier posts, as well as a description of the kinds of foods.

Default There may be more...

I had an email from another local lc'er who may come as well. If someone is making a reservation, I would reserve for 6 or 7 to be safe.

It all comes together in the end.... yay!

Talking tortilla shells

Hey Judi
Not only am I paying attention, I've already been to buy some!!
When I went on Thursday afternoon, they only had the whole wheat ones left. That was fine by me! I bought 2 packages and we had beef and peppers in a wrap last night for supper! YUMMY!
Thanks for the info and Keep up the good work!!
Esther

Natch, those are the only ones they ordered ... but if those sell well (and why not? it's a GREAT price) maybe we can get them to bring in the Garlic Herb { YUM! } or maybe even the Green Onion { double YUM! } ...

Eh?

Kara, the conversational thread (and the link) says the Douglas Street store (it's on high Douglas, just this side of the Mayfair/Finlayson intersection, on your left or West as you head on out of town or North)... k?

PS: have you ever checked the LowCarb Yellow Pages quicklink? Upper right of your screen, I've added these little puppies to the shopping database, of course.

Enjoy.

Question la Tortilla shells

Judi, is there a specific person we could talk to at the store and ask about bringing in the other flavours? It sure would be nice to have a variety!!
I know they are selling, there was only 2 packages left when I went in.

I think I got the last one today...I told the cashier you sent me...She just looked at me blankly...(I don't think a lot of those people in that store eat enough meat!) Do ya think there is such a thing as too much health food???

In responce to the other thread about the dinner, Judy...I have to make sure I can go to the dinner in Van...I don't think it will be a problem, but I do have to ask for the day off of work. I know that dh and I will be staying the night. My car is pretty small, but we could squeeze you in if you need a ride there. It would be so neat if a few from here decide to go over!

Oy, Esther! Just grab the nearest person -- maybe not a cashier -- though I suspect the guy in charge of the freezer cases lets those upward in management know when something is out or something is wanted... I've also found the on-shift grocery manager (Steve days and that really tall good-looking bodybuilding { just a touch too much, guy } hunk that does evenings and weekends) is VERY helpful and lowcarb aware.... WAY more than the cashiers!

Another thought. On the wall on the right as you exit the cashiers is a suggestion board. If you can't get hold of a pulse try that!

Wow. Those babies sat there for a couple of weeks til I posted here... and tagged "hunk" by the collar

Anita darlin', I'd need to arrange some time off, too. But if we could get a few bodies over there, that would be SO COOL!

I absolutely WALLOWED in enjoyment on the one dinner I managed to treat myself too. Worth taking the bus over even!

For the rest of you who don't know about the dinner we are talking about - here's the thread (look part way down page one - Anita asks when the next dinner is going to be)

http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...15&pagenumber=1

I am on holidays then & looks like I could probably go so include me in any plans. Maybe we'll have enough to rent a van!
