My phone fell in a sink that still had some water in it... I hope it isn't ruined.. I took these on my walk back from PT to home...the pic is definitely fuzzy/foggy... It's a big oak in full green leaf now near the construction site...

This pic turned out ok though. Storm coming in! It looks like the clouds are smiliig for a photo...we did get thunder but no rain that evening...

One of my many 5 min walks today at work...cold and windy but I love it.
I walk outside every other hour - inbetween I go to the restroom and grab something out of the fridge or water for herb tea...so it's about 20 min of walking total in a day...
This was by a warehouse I pass...a piece of the metal roof was torn and flipping up with every wind gust....

And this lovely rose was down the drive/road around the corner...I had to hustle to get down there to photograph it and get back in time...

I started walking/exercising again. There for awhile I just stopped - very tired of the leg, the pain, the swelling, etc...but I am now getting back to it. I've been losing weight on my own version of the potato hack and want to start getting my strength and body back in shape. I am 6 months post op and still find I should be doing the leg exercises.

Yesterday I re-joined the 2 hour a week exercise challenge. I walked for 15 min yesterday and walked 15 min today. Pix will be coming - computer issues and time constraints - OY.

Oh yea!!!! You will gain strength faster than you realize now. One think I did a LOT at this point and beyond for a year, was when sitting on a chair I could put my foot under, I inched it back as far as it would go and keep it there for five mins or so, then go back further. It really helped.

Thanks Arlene - I'll do that. Good idea. PT was doing that for me but that is long over.

Oh neglected gym log! Computer issues as usual and time constraints. These will not be in order - I am catching up my walking pix as long as the computer cooperates this AM. **I need to switch to the other computer - this one will not cooperate...

I did make my 2 hr a week exercise challenge this week. Last week I only did 80 min. This week was 2 hrs and 5 min.
Mon Jun 9 - 10 min dance (Ace of Base), 20 min knee exercises

Tues Jun 10 - 15 min dance (Ace of Base), 30 min knee exercises

Wed Jun 11 - 15 min walk no pix
Fri Jun 13 - 1 hour walking, moving, light lifting - helped my boss move some stuff to her new house (not me in pic)

Sun Jun 15 - 15 min walk, 20 min knee exercises no pix

I have rejoined the 2 Hrs a Week Exercise Challenge. They are hoppin' over there right now!
http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...2&page=61&pp=15

I am in a place where I can start this up again and so want to be healthier. I think it will help me overall - sleep, stickinig to a healthier WOE, mentally, and the obvious acceleration in loss! I miss my walking pix. I have a little more time now, hopefully I can figure out the computer issues regarding this soon.

Denise Austen's Balls and Bands - 15 min (minus the bands today - can't find them where I'm housesitting) - doing the easier stretch ball exercises.

20 min dancing to alternative radio. I'm out of shape and going easy today.

35 min total movement.

1 hour walking including beach walking - which is a little harder with the tide coming in - shifting sand on a slope - I actually fell over once but - I didn't care. I was wet and sandy anyway from the waves splashing me as I walked closer to the water. Beautiful. I would have gone earlier but I didn't get up right away and actually put some make up on this AM - just a little. Glad I did - I guided some Canadian people to our 24 hour little store and coffee shop here - they were in search of coffee and it was really early.
