Fogging up yes, but it's from the beauty of all the ladies in here!

Hasn't the weather been crazy? It's usually not this cold in the winter.

Liddie, glad you're enjoying the new job.

Thanks for the congrats Proj.. how ya doin'?

Is it still a great day to be Scott? C'mon guy.. remember how great we felt at a lower weight.. what's it going to take to get us to make that commitment again?

Mike

Getting ready mentally to start soon. How 'bout it Myche?

still MOMD day something

Still very tight on my carbs and choices, weight is still going down, also I am down a size in my very unforgiving uniform pants for work.
I am getting close to wonderland again, wish I never left!

today is gym after work, I have an hour after work before my gym opens today, I usually take a book and go to a coffeehouse near there, instead of coming home and going back.

Saturday night I went out dancing with lots of friends, even though I sure was beat at work yesterday it was really great.

DD took a photo of me, guess I'll post it

Went out for Valentines day with my joe last night, but i was careful and still am down in weight today, 201.8 today is my day off, so i need to keep busy and away form too many snacks. I am headed to the nursing home to visit my friend Lou, then see more friends and then the gym, may go out to lunch again but we go to a safe place where the salads have lots of meat and no croutons, lol, after that i will get to the gym before heading home for laundry and houscleaning.

Anyone have any good sites on the Glycemic index? I found one site that has a lot of foods in it, but it's not very complete or simple to search.

This was my journal post yesterday:
Quote:
This mornings weigh in...139.

Ahhhhhh.....back from a week in San Diego. The damage is done but not even as bad as (I think) I expected. Eating was well----I must have had 2-3 orders of sweet potatoe fries, a few cocktails and some wine, a few bites of(what was supposedly supppose to be a killer rigatoni--not so tasty, bunless burgers (I love California--no one EVER looks odd at you when you have food requests), the Brazilizn hunk-o-meat restaurant, a few too many nuts and Atkins bars in the hotel for snacks, but all in all not so bad. What a better day than today--Valentines Day-- to get TOTALLY back in the saddle. I have a few "issues" that I need to do some problem solving on (I talked about it in my journal some last week).

I still visit often, just don't post as much. As stated above--really cleaning up my act for a bit--I don't want to undo all the hardwork already put in. I'm hoping I learned my lesson that there will not be a fourth time at the rodeo.

San Diego was beautiful--high 60s-70s and sunny the entire time! and of course came back to pouring rain. I'm burning up my sun simulator as I type!

LiD--totally glad you're back in the heated ware house. and almost back to onderland to boot. Yeah you!!!!! Plus, you look awesome in your outfit. Like you trying to be tight on the carbs for a bit--jeez I hate induction.

Daddio--also try googling glycemic load (a bit more useful than the GI--IMO) Sounds like you're thinking of making some changes?

Meiz--make sure you post pictures of your Breast Cancer awareness quilt. And STAY AWAY FROM THE BREAD.

I don't know if any of you heard or knew him and I don't have any details, but Kevinpa has passed away. I'm very sad.

MOMD

Well kids, it seems I have good news and bad news...

Good news #1 - I did not fall off of my roof and break my neck on Sunday.

Good news #2 - dont have Plantar fasciitis anymore.

Bad news - in an effort to not fall off the roof, I tore my Plantar fascia and am now in a walking boot cast.

OMGosh.. I did not know that.. How did you find out Lisa. Is there anything we can do for the family.. he will forever be remembered for bringing joy to many of us in this thread. (not to mention putting us under glass!)

This is very sad.

I am sorry to hear about Kevinpa, I think we had some interacting a few years back when I first started coming to this forum. I will keep his family in my prayers.
