I've been taking really small sips of water since I woke up. I've only had about 1/2 a liter so far. Of course that's coming back up with the other stuff.

I think this is a good time to eat an entire large pizza.

Well, you have about 72 hours after we make out before you start puking, so that's plenty of time to get in some partying.

Penni, this is one of the hardest times of the year for me. I remember when I was pg with 1st dd, I worked in an office where the owner kept a candy bowl on my desk, b/c it was closest to the entrance. Supposedly for the guests, but we didn't have that many come in. She and her hubby would eat one piece of candy every few days, while I ate them all day long. Needless to say, every time I went in for my prenatal visits, my urinalysis showed that I was spilling glucose. If it's in your wee wee, then it means your blood sugar is over 200!! Yikes.

Also, my beloved Grandma John used to make these dark chocolate covered peanut butter eggs and mail them to us all the way from PA. She'd mail them with the fake green Easter grass and the candy would melt and the grass would get all in the egg, but I didn't care!!

Also, I think it's the pretty, shiny pastel foil that attracts me! If it's glittery, there's almost no way I can resist.

I think a lot of us did this for years, esp when we thought fat-free was good. I can recall one mortgage co. I worked at always had those orange circus peanuts, candy corn, cotton candy and all that stuff and we thought it was less fattening than candy with fats.

And once I start on sugary stuff, I want more and more.

I honestly used to think that having a bag of Skittles for lunch was less fattening than a ham sandwich.
