That's true, but she is a spokesperson for a nationally recognized weight loss diet and I think she should be honest with her starting weight. Not only for herself, but also it will increase her weightloss to make the diet look even better!

Default Fat, who cares...

Kirstie Alley is making money being Jenny Craig's spokeswmaon now. Just like the Duchess of York being the lead for Weight Watchers and Tommy Lasorda and LAuren Hutten stumping for SlimFast.

I do have to say, when Kirstie Alley was in that movie with Tom Selleck and Gene Simmons, she was hot!!!

Interresting note about kirstie: I also saw her endorsing a rehab clinic which saved her life from her HORRIBLE COCAINE ADDICTION.

So, no wonder what kept her skinny, and why she got fat!

Therapy?!?! you got THAT right. Shes outside the mortal experience-most of us had kids, and other mundane pressures, so she doesnt GET it.

Let me see if I can find that site that she endorsed to get her off the coke. Im at work, so it may take a few...

I Do know it was clearly a non-scientologist clinic. But dont get me started on those freaks. Like brainwashing isnt psychology!

Actually, I think she got off the coke with Narconon. And Narconon is run by.....you guessed it, the church of scientology.

I just read an interesting piece about Narconon and how they got themselves thrown out of a public school anti-drug program for spouting and preaching scientology.

If I remember right getting off drugs was her entrance into Scientology. That all makes sense.

Default Narconon ???

Is Narconon the same as Narcotics Anonymous(NA) ?
Narcotics Anonymous has no affiliations with Scientology. I have many friends who owe their lives to NA
Where was this article ??
Make sure you have your facts straight and can back them up

I guess I missed that Kirstie was addicted to cocaine, but it makes sense that she gained a lot of weight after quitting the coke; she was still self-medicating but using starches and sugars instead of coke to do it. Sugar stimulates a lot of the same chemical triggers in the brain that drugs do, so many addicts substitute sugar (and caffeine/nicotine) when kicking drugs. My DH sees it all the time in the rehab program he works in.
