Good morning everyone. I just want to encouraqge everyone. Now that the heat wave has dissipated (at least for those of us in the mid-west) maybe we can all focus better onour woe. I am afraid I have been over doing the cheese thing but am still sure that I have had a pretty good loss. It seems to me that my tummy is shrinking ever so slightly. At least I hope so. How are you all doing?

Hey Joes, Glad it's cooling off a little where you are....we aren't too bad here...still too hot for outdoor recreation -- for me-- but not as bad as it could be....way to go on feeling that stomach getting smaller....that is where I carry the majority of my weight so it is what I'm always looking for.....keep up the good work!

J&L's, great job on those losses, girl! That's awesome.

I say let's keep this train rolling......I know I don't want to stop and then have to get started again....so I say "No Stopping!"

Have a great day,

Anita

Jilli, are you still with us? Feel free to stop by anytime and get your dose of support. You might want to start a journal so we can stop by to encourage you.

I hope so too!!!! You deserve to see a nice loss when you weigh in because you're working so hard towards it.
I will keep all my fingers and toes crossed for you, but I'm sure you won't need it.

Default Sorry...

Hello guys Sorry i have been away for so long. Just like to say Congratulations to all the wonderful losses and i'm so proud of everyone!
I'd just like to apologize that i am withdrawing myself from this challenge... sorry for the bad news, especially while you guys are working so hard. I feel like a party pooper It's just after that one slip up, i sort of saw doom coming again I actually managed to do alright for the day after that, and then more events came at me with such short notice i ended up letting loose again.
I have not exactly given up on myself yet, thank goodness. I've decided that i will probably switch over to the Carbohydrates Addicts Diet/Lifespan Program and see how i do on it. It is really soo different from South Beach but in many ways, it fits into my lifestyle a lot better. I don't like the fact that Broccoli and tomatoes are only supposed to be eaten very moderately But i'm sure theres not TOO much adjusting to. I guess i really needed some more flexibility. I probably won't be losing as quickly as you here on South Beach can, but I suppose a steady loss might be easier to maintain
I hope it is okay if i still stick around here sometimes just to see how well everyone is doing I'm still very excited about Sunday for everyone in this challenge

Happy Losing!

Pink

Weel, tomorrow is the big day. I can't wait to weigh myself. As expected the only thing lc at the family reunion was the veggie tray. Even the meat was full of honey or rice or whatever. Did I indulge? Yes, I'm afraid I did, after eating a plate full of veggies. Fortunately it doesn't seem to have provoked any carb cravings. I got through the dinner at church just fine today by just having the meat and the brocolli salad. There were a few carbs in that but just a few ramen noodles broken up so i wasn't too concerned. Well, here is hoping for a good outcome in the a.m. I sure hope those carbs on Saturday don't affect the scale tomorrow!

Sounds like to me you made great choices at your church dinner and family reunion, so I can't imagine that's going to slow you down....keep up the good work, and see ya back here in the morning.

Well, my re-start has definitely got off to a good start

I'm down another 4lbs this week, which makes a total of 11lbs for the two weeks I've been following SB Phase I

I'm now moving on to Phase II, and although I don't expect to see those kind of losses again, I hope that my weight will continue its downward trend

joesfolks ~ good luck with your weigh in today I will check back later to see how you've done

I am in Phase 2 now.

I lost another 5 lbs. last week. I know my weight loss will probably slow down some now that I am in Phase 2.

Beginning challenge weight: 225

Today's weight: 215
