Hi. Just checking in. How are you doing.?
You know I was thinking to self> And I said>Self, Why has it taken so long with so many ups and downs >with more ups of just getting fatter in life. We know for years that we have gained weight and are we really surprise when we have 50-200 lbs to lose?
Just seems at time we have let our bodies and health fall.
But I guess The one thing is >That we got on track and have learned and with surport we find it a new road. As we age it is also more importion to start and keep going.
Our bodies can change. It is our minds and our foods that are keys and most of all Move that
body.
Time is short. Be what we feel we are inside.and each lb lose we do feel better.

Hi, Lizzy.
Just know today is a New month and just maybe we will do better.
It will be a good month if we can just keep a tight ring on being good with our plan.
I did not do as well as I thought I would Or when I was taking the walk and seem not to hit as hard as I thought I would.
I did lose* 1 lb for this month.Was>9/1..*127 and now **126
We can do this and lets take this month and try to lose 2-3 lbs?
Nov. Dec. are coming .So if{No we will have something off. less we have to do and New year is around the corner.

Hi, girls.
What a wonderful little group we have here. It helps so much to have you and Izzy with me on this long at times hard road.
I made a smoothie and for dinner will have a small salad with soup and 1/2 navy beans.{Blended.

I love Feta cheese also in salad, just adds a wonder taste.
And also boiled eggs are great low cals and good fat and protien.Think I will also try in smoothie next time to add few coffee beans and see.

Any of you like Tofu?{May try that little more.

I love tofu!!! At the biggest loser camp we made lasagna rolls . The filling had onion diced zucchini garlic part skim ricotta and tofu. The noodles were grilled egg plant. The The sauce was fresh tomatoes basil garlic etc.. I also found a delicious tofu recipe on damndelicious.net. I'll post it shortly!! plan making both as I have two packs of organic extra form tofu in the fridge.

This is amazing!! I just used Splenda instead of sugar. I could make this weekly for myself

I will look thru my papers and see if I can find the eggplant lasagna roll ups. If I do will post it soon. Tofu is awesome! It is very good for you and a great protein. Fiancee won't try It . He doesn't know what he is missing!

Maral.

I love tofu also.
I can even eat >cutting a slice.
The only thing is, I do not know how to cook or use it.
But with your help I will.
I also thought to add some to smoothies.
I will go to store next week and buy package.
I found one that I was looking at. It was orangnic and hard firm.
little to o water. Have to look more at it.
I thought to eat more of that in place at times of meat.
Today I also add 1/4 avaco.
that is good fats also.

I have so many health books and diet books and Smoothie books. Plus u can find any thing on net.
I even have the Biggest loser book from way back. I wonder If It will come back on?
The thing the should get into is what and how to cook and eat Plus yes Move that body.
So far doing good with what I'm doing. It is just staying on track. This year has been the worst with up and downs{Slips.
My head plays with me with the scale.
But we all know what to do.Send recipes on tofu and how to.
Eggplant Roll ups sound good.
Also going to try Irish butter. More for husband then me,{For I don;t use butter for me .
Does this Girls. help u stay with it more and when we report? It does me.
Hope would would get more to post but there is New year.
Seems people get going for while in New year. The hard part is staying with it even on ups and Downs.

I feel good and I love That I started{.

oh no I don't like tofu, I tried once and maybe it was the way it was cooked but it tasted terrible.

The lasagna roll ups sound delicious, perhaps I can use shredded chicken instead of tofu and zucchini instead of eggplant (I believe eggplant is a nightshade and I need to stay away from nightshades as much as possible to avoid more inflammation)

Janet, the Irish butter is delicious. I use Kerrygold butter most of the time.
