I am aware that beans are limited. I measure them but when I have chili I mite have a little more as it has juice & tomatoes in it. I probably don't have much more than 1/2 a cup of beans. I miss the crackers but never have them.
I like sweet potato, peas & carrots but also measure them.I haven't had peas so far except for some snow peas. I will get some frozen ones as I know cans are full of sodium. I haven't had winter squash since I was a kid.. I'll have to look for some but may be too early. Can I have all kinds of them? They are expensive here.
I have lost weight several times in the past but this time is the hardest. I'm only about 1/2 way to where I want to end up.. somehow I'll make it.

Again, any bread, even a good one like Ezekiel, needs to be seen as a detriment to weight loss. If you decide to have a slice of any bread, it'd be a good idea to see it as a treat to have once in a while or as I said, on the weekends.
If you are not losing by eating it regularly, then you need to see it as an obstacle to getting to where you want to be. Learning to eat this way, which is technically a controlled carb way of eating, we have to face the facts that our bodies just can't handle bread on a regular basis. I never ate it when I was seeking weight loss....and I mean never!! Losing the weight was my priority and I didn't care if I ate bread.
I wouldn't be telling you this if I had not gone through the exact same thing. I had to get it about the bread/flour and I think that you do too.
This is what phase II is about. We test all these foods to see how our body repsonds. You've been testing bread and not seeing any loss so its time for you to see your own test results.
Yes, you can have any of the winter squashes.
I do enjoy the Wasa Hearty Rye crisbreads. I allow myself 1-2 a day.
I do hope that this helps you.
