Both my kids were born before I was diagnosed with PCOS, so I can't answer your question directly. However, I can tell you that I started normal cycles two weeks after I started eating low carb (the first time I went through this).
*That* time I was advised by my doctor to go NO carb for 6 months. He told me to eat *only* meat, eggs and cheese for that time.
I was completely fixed long before the 6 months were up. (Then I thought I was "cured" and went back to the SAD. Big mistake. Now I'm broken again.)
This time I tried to do things a bit different. I lowered my carbs to 40-60g a day and planned on maintaining there.
I can tell you now, this is NOT working. Yesterday I gave in and started the meat, eggs, cheese diet again. For me, induction is not a option.
