I don't want to say "cure" but...
I went to the hospital today to have an ultrasound. It was just a checkup to see what's going on 'down there'. The radiologist was taking a look and when I told her I had PCOS. She said, "no you don't, your ovaries look fine".
I explained that I was diagnosed seven years ago with PCOS and she said that because my ovaries don't look polycystic now I never had it. She was a busy lady and I wasn't going to argue or tell her my entire medical history: the years of irregular periods, adult acne, excess weight and hairiness, the thousands of times I thought I was pregnant and wasn't and how as soon as I went low carb my periods became regular, the weight dropped off and my skin cleared up.
I don't care whether she believes me but I'm ecstatic that my years of low carbing have improved the health of my ovaries. To me that is really exciting and I just had to share the news!
