Looked at the calendar and changed my mind
Decided to do legs today - wanted to get a lower body workout in before the end of the year and also wanted to be able to walk on New Years! So, today:
10 minutes cardio as warm up
Quads :
sumo squats, 5 sets, 10 reps each
10x45 lbs - warm up
10x70 lbs
3 sets of
10x100 lbs
Glutes Hammies and Quads:
lunges, 3 sets, 45 lbs, 8 reps each leg
Calves:
single leg raises, bodyweight, 3 sets to failure each time
angled raises w/ 45 lb barbell, 2 sets to failure
Hammies:
Laying curls, 3 sets, 8 reps squeeze and pause on last rep all at 70lbs
Some stretching, followed by whey protein (25g) w/ glutamine (10g), Vit C mega dose (1g) and some dextrose (40g) - and now back to regularly scheduled laundry!
