Chilled Cucumber Soup

I adapted this one from a recipe in Cafe Beaujolais.

1 cup peeled, seeded & minced English cucumbers
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons minced scallions
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup creme fraiche
1/2 tablespoon fresh dill weed, minced
salt
white pepper
1 tablespoon toasted chopped walnuts

Combine all ingredients except walnuts and refrigerate for 4 hours or more. Garnish with walnuts (optional) to serve.
