Default Day 7- I have slayed the nicotine dragon!

I feel nicotine is something of the past.
Since I went cold turkey I know it's out of my system. I have my last unsmoked pack of cigarettes within in arm's reach. I have NOT wanted to light up!
I have feelings of indifference towards cigarettes. I've had a couple of very stressful situations since I quit (one today), I haven't wanted to light up.

Maybe I should continue recording my weight here, since weight gain is a big fear with quitting smoking.
It was one of my biggest fears.

weight today 116 lbs. Constipation and bloating is still a problem.

Great news Zellie. It's amazing that you can still keep a pack, and not use it!

Congrats on completing the toughest week!

Still no desire to touch a cigarette. Weight is 115 lbs.

I've had a few food cravings.

I have strange food needs now, most things are too sweet. Made sf jello the other day, found it far to sweet. Now, i'm using gelatin, and flavorings to make my own sf jello.

Same with chocolate. Normally when I get a chocolate craving, I square lindt dark bitter choc does the trick. This time, around, too sweet not enough choc. I mixed 3tsp cocoa powder, and 1/2t sweetner and it satisfied the craving. It was a craving for chocolate not for something sweet.

WTG Zellie!

Keep up the great work. BTW....shouldn't you update that profile of yours with 115 pounds?

I am very proud of you!

LOL.. This whole weight thing was something that plagued me over and over.
I weighed myself on the day I quit, and was surprised with a 5 1/2 lb loss in the last 2 weeks before quitting. I decided this was a bonus
My weight has fluctuated over this quit period. I'm waiting like 6 weeks after quit date to see where my weight is doing. I don't want to raise my hopes of having lost these 5lbs permanently. I hope I don't put it back because of metabolism slowdown. I'm mentally prepared to lose it again. They are not permanently gone in my mind, kinda "loaned away" gone. "They may come back."
