Question Women 65+, What is this expericence like for you

Hi, it seems to me that when I tried Atkins a million years ago, the weight just dropped off, and because I got cocky and started to eat the old way, I gained a lot of weight.

And now the weight is all over my body, but esp around my torso, the prime area for health problems. So here I am at Atkins' door again, but this time it's like wrestling an alligator: not easy. Mystifying. Just plain hard.

I have started exercising and cut out a lot of salt. I'm just curious to see if other women over 65 have actually found this LC way of life to produce weight loss and if it was easy or hard for them. Also, if it is easy, what book(s) are you using?

I have always noticed that for men vs women, men lose a lot more, no question. So my question is for women. Thanks all.
