Hiya, hot lemon water is a good idea it really helps flush out your system, basically I have started by working hard to eliminate dairy from my diet and am giving my body time to get used to it, all week I was having pounding cravings but its getting better now :-) also I have not had any wheat or gluten all week, since you feel you are already doing a lot to your body (I probably am too) lets just take it slowly one step at a time, we need to be able to reasonably stick with this...as for the milk thistle I started that 2 weeks ago, I am hypothyroid which causes regularity issues and over the past 2 weeks it has gradually gotten better with much less bloating, from what I have read Milk thistle really protects support and repairs the liver and so far I have had no negative side effects, but its really up to you, I think a good first step is to eliminate dairy and then we can move on. Are you wheat/gluten free?
