Default Pete's Fitness log

This is my first gym log, and figure if I have one I might have more motivation to exercise. I ready to turn my flabolous arms to fabolous arms

Thursedays exercise-
20 minute walk with dogs
Bowflex exercises-
Chest fly-10 reps 45 lbs on each side of power rods
Decline bench press-10 reps
Incline Bench Press-10 reps
Decline chest fly-10 reps
Incline chest fly-10 reps
Seated shoulder press-10 reps
Narrow lat pulldowns with hand grips-10 reps
Reverse gril pulldowns-10 reps
Cross over wide pulldowns-10 reps
Triceps extension(I thought I was gonna die!)-10 reps
Seated upper body opposition push pull-10 reps
seated resisted abdominal crunch-10
Leg extension(I love these)-10 reps, 2 sets

My arms literally feel like spaghetti, but the sweat dripping down my back feels wonderful. The endorphins are flowing but I hope I'll be able to move my arms tomorrow

I attempted to take some measurements but dont know how accurate they are because its hard to take them by myself.

Under bust-42
abdomen-48
hips-46
upper arms 15 1/2

Today was a day full of activity..Not actual workout stuff but for me it was exercise because normally I'm always in the house. We ran errands all day from 1 all the way to 7. Then we came home and DH wanted to take the dogs for a run. So went to the baseball diamond, and threw the ball around. Had a great time!!!

Well, I've been horrible at keeping my gym log but I have been faithful to my exercise, unlike my food But you know what I'm not at all disappointed in myself because I keep my calories at 1500 calories or below. I log my food EVERYDAY in my own personal journal. Have I allowed myself some chips in the past. Yep sure have but I counted calories and allotted them into my calorie intake. Right now I am currently not doing that. I've been lowcarbing it Not atkins way because hubby doesnt agree with the high fat but I'm been eating lots of lean meats, veggies etc basically South Beach but my own. Sorry I know how people hate when they say my own but I'm tayloring it into my own individual needs and it seems to be working because the scale has been kind to me. The day after thanksgiving I weight 223 and now I weigh 217. So I am pleased. Exercise is helping tremendously. If my food is not on target for that day then I have exercise to lean back on because exercise will rev my metabolism for the day, give me lots of energy so I wont just be sitting on the couch. Not only that but the inches melt away. So if the scale says one thing I can just go by the inches. I've gone from couch to a 5K and I'm feeling great!! My next one is in February and I hope to beat my time of 41:47.
