DD & SIL are going to be here for at least part of next weekend so I guess I get to do the turkey thing, preferably with the trimmings they remember from when they were growing up (means bread stuffing and pumpkin pie). At least with Vicki here, it'll be light work for the two of us and her hubby's not a bad hand in the kitchen either.
On top of that, John's talking about maybe investigating a new antique show in Calgary the weekend of the 16-18th, which would mean leaving here on the 13th at the latest.
Steph, you were sick last month - you can't be sick two months in a row! I guess I don't have to ask you if you're taking all your vitamins and eating properly - sounds like you might have gotten run-down after your bout last month. Take care of yourself - you're important to us!
Mid-week after the 19th or 20th suits me - if Steph was better one day next week would work too.
Chains? Chains!!??? We don't even have winter tires and we wouldn't know how to put on chains anyway - I don't think they do much good tucked away under bins in the back. Right now he's just toying with the idea - we only learned about the show last weekend so it's very short notice. I'm being very negative about the whole idea! I'll keep you posted.

I hope he accepts your whole negative idea on this one. Some of those mountain passes are just awful without chains and they won`t even let you try without winter tires - just thinking about your safety......
Well, you'll be glad to hear that we've agreed not to go to Calgary this time! We have done shows this time of year, and survived the snowy passes with all-weather tires but we definately hole up if it's snowing hard. One thing in the mountains - they're very good at clearing the roads. I've got pix of the Coquihalla when the snow banks are so high it's like driving through a tunnel.
Anyway, that opens up more of the month for a lunch and/or dinner. Sure hope we can get together on a day & time!
Sounds good to me too! I'll check with John and see if he feels like joining us, assuming R. will come with you and maybe Bruno will get a chance to come out and visit a bit.
