Default What would you do with a pound of hamburger meat?

We sometimes just have plain hamburgers because it's exhausting to come up with a new interesting meal every week. But I'd love to come up with a marinade/spice mix to make them a little more interesting.

So I thought I'd put it to the masses. What do you do to make your ground beef a little more interesting?

http://crackslaw.com/

Yes, it even has it's own website.

Other ideas.... I take 2-3 lbs of beef and pat it down into .25 to .3 lb patties then put them in sandwich bags to fry later. The thinner the better.

I'll fry up 1lb hamburger, put it in a baking dish with 8-12 eggs and whatever veggies I have, spinach, broccoli, onions, mushrooms, whatever... bake it for 30min then melt some cheese on top.

Love Crackslaw, and Meatloaf is a close second. Many low carb and Paleo versions.

Dana Carpender's Mexican Meatloaf was in the recent Woman's World article:

I've started doing this - love it! It's especially good with avocado and sour cream instead of regular salad dressing.

i love to really spice up my burgers, lots of cajun seasoning and cayenne pepper, garlic cloves, whatever else i love and adds a nice spice. also a huge fan of meatloaf! i also will brown it up and add taco seasoning and eat it in a bowl. delicious! i think i could live on hamburger meat.

I put it through a blender or egg beater with salt, pepper, onion and whatever. Puts it on a more keel with boxed, preformed hamburger meat for flavour, but you know what's going in.

Lettuce wraps.

Mix up a sauce of soy/tamari sauce, a touch of sweetener, ginger (if you have it), garlic and cook your hamburger in that. Sometimes I add in water chestnuts for crunch, not sure about the carbs on those.

Wrap up the meat in lettuce and enjoy!

When I'm at a real loss....brown it with a bit of onion and garlic...put in a bowl with a bit of mayo and shredded cheddar.

Yummy for me!
