Talking Melt In your mouth L/C Choc Chunk cookies

Melt In your mouth L/C Choc Chunk cookies

You have got to try these I wanted a biscuit for afternoon tea so mucked around and came up with these. Was'nt sure how they'd turn out but once I tasted one I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. YUMMY !!!!!!!!!

WARNING not for the faint hearted, could induce a binge attack (but even if you ate the whole batch it's still only 7.06gm carb) Not at all low fat or cal so would'nt reccommend making them every day.

200gm butter
10gm Cocoa
1 cup Soy Protein Isolate
3tsp Sucryl liquid (or equivalent in other sweetener)
50gm (2/3) Cadbury lite L/C chocolate broken up and each square cut in half.

( If you don't approve of the choc cause of the interesting ingredients then omit it. Still just as good, just lower in carb.)

Warm butter in a bowl in microwave. Mix in all other ingredients into butter. Spoon onto lightly greased non-stick cookie tray, making 8 cookies. Bake in preheated fan bake oven ~ 160 deg Celsius for 15min’s.
Do not over cook. Gentely lift from tray with spatula and place on cooling rack. Try not to eat them all before they have cooled.

Carbs:

Butter 0gm
10gm Cocoa 2.4gm (check the pack of the cocoa you use)
50gm Cadbury lite choc 3.66gm
3-4 tsp sweetener 0 (depending on which one you use)
Soy Protien isolate >1 gm (check the pack you use.)
--------
7.06 Whole batch
0.88 per biscuit

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Red face

After looking really closly at the ingredient in the low carb choclate, I very quicly gave it up. But the biscuits are still yummy without choc chunks. I still can't beleive we can eat things like this. I could never eat bisciuts and lose weight on any other diet. Or have dessert every night if I want, and butter on everything. I made them again today and I think I got it wrong when I wrote the recipe above.
IT SHOULD BE ONLY 100GM BUTTER or enough to make a nice cookie texture.

Wow! LC Cadbury! Wish we could get that in the US. I have some Dark Rich Cadbury in the freezer I'm saving for maintenance as its only a few carbs per square with reg. sugar.

Tell you what I miss, Cadbury "coconut". Like the caramel kind, only filled with a coconut mixture. Oh my gosh, they were good. Haven't seen them since I was a kid :-(

Is there a posting somewhere on this site that translates grams to cups for us poor Americans? I was thinking of substituting some sugar free chocolate chips that I ordered online in this one.
