Default From Here to There....the gym log

Ok, since I've joined the "Mischa wants a tighter butt" challenge, i better start a gym log.

Today.......

45 minutes treadmill - 2.64 miles, incline5, 362 cal.
10 "girl pushups"
2 sets of 12 reps -
hamstrings 50 lb
quads 50 lb both these on the Bowflex.

This is my cardio day, I usually "throw" in either pushups, situps and some hamstring/quad work. Tomorrow, will be strength training with Yoga.

Oh dear, I forgot all about this gym log....

Well, today.......45 minutes treadmill - 2.52 miles - 389 Calories
I upped the incline on some of the slower songs (I do my treadmill to a hodge podge of good paced music)

Stretching- Yoga 1 hour

Walking the dog (hehehe) 1 hour

Yesterday, I did weights, crunches, pushups and went out in my kayak on the river for about an hour and a half....shoulders still a bit sore!

Seems like I get to this gym log about once every two days....that's ok, I guess.

Yesterday was my yoga day. Hour and a half of pretty intense stretch and holding poses. I can feel it in the ole buttocks today!!!

Today has been a mixed bag of exercise. Went for a long walk with the dog...probably about 5 miles, maybe a bit more. Then at home I did my crunches..2x25 to each side and the middle. I think I'm starting to feel a bit more muscle in the abdomen....that would be great because I know I'm fairly weak there. Managed to eke out 15 "girl" (knee down) pushups, but it was hard because my arms are a bit sore from yesterday's yoga where we did quite a bit of arm work.

Oi, keeping a gym log is just really hard for me. As usual, I rebel against having to WRITE THINGS DOWN!!! Wonder why that is so hard for me????

Anyway, I'm going to attempt here once again to log my activities.

Friday 4-25 -

9+ mile hike at local state park.
Yoga stretches for 30 minutes in the evening.

Feeling good, no soreness at all.

M

Hiya Marjan,

Thanks. I love working in the yard. Took my act on the road a few times Hey, if that's an offer for a free vacation, I'll take it. Thank for the congrats, but today, I don't deserve it. Was kinda down this morning and ate everything I shouldn't. You name it, I ate it. Will start again tomorrow. In better mood now. Anyways "momma said there be days like this"

Have a good one and I will really give you something to congratulate me on in the next week or so.

Maxine
