Default Hypothyroidism and ketostix

I have been taking thyroxine since March this year since being diagnosed with hypothyroidism.

I have lowcarbed since November on and off. The first month, it worked really well and although the scales didn't actually move much, my clothes were getting looser. After christmas, I'd stopped losing and actually started gaining even though I was eating exactly the same.

After being diagnosed with hypothyroidism in March, I added fruit, some bread and chocolate but I've lost the taste for pasta, potatoes and rice so I don't eat them.

Last week I decided to go back onto Atkins. I lost 4lbs (water loss I assume) in the first four days and my ketosis sticks were a dark pink. The last couple of days, the 4lbs have crept back on and my ketosis sticks aren't registering anything. I am following induction to the letter, drinking 3-4litres a day, and my calorie intake is around 1600. I also run twice a week for half an hour and do two circuit classes a week. I take selenium, l-tyrosine and flaxseed oil. My ketostix were changing colour when lowcarbed last year so why has ketosis stopped?

I'm not massively overweight, I'd like to lose about 10lbs but I just feel so depressed that I can't seem to lose any weight no matter how hard I try, even now that my hypothyroidism is being treated.

Any advice would be gratefully received!!
