So let me get this straight.......... on CAD you can never drink soda as long as you live??????

Recomended soda is diet rite. they have different flavors (like them all but raspberry). I have a caffeine free diet coke sometimes too. The plan is to control the sugar and caffeine.

Hi Chantel, On CAD you can have soda at your RM. Some enjoy diet soda at their CM's but for some it causes a stall. I have been doing a modified CAD for 5 weeks. I continue to drink 1 or 2 diet pepsi's per day. sometimes with my CM. I couldn't totally cut out my soda, but have cut back. I think you need to see what works for you. These boards are a huge help if you surf around for awhile you can get a ton of info. Good luck, Susan

YES! You can have soda...just at RM's that's all!

Actually, in the Heller's books they show diet soda as part of the menu, but many, if not most feel that would be the cause of a stall. I do have one with CM from time to time, if I am out, but generally just RM. At RM they DO NOT have to be diet. Whatever you want. That's the beauty of RM.

LOVE my coca cola at rm's. Granted, I rarely drink more than 6-8 oz of it, but I love it.

I've yet to try a diet soda on rm or cm. But so far splenda in coffee doesn't bother me, not sure what as would do tho. I'd rather guzzle water and reward myself with "the real thang" anyway.
