Smile Hi! I'm new here....

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself. This is my 2nd attempt at Atkins and I've only been on it for 5 days. The first time I lost 22 pounds. So far this time I've lost 6. I hope I can keep on and reach my goal this time. I have to admit that I have cheated a time or two, only with low carb bread. I hope that doesn't hurt me too much.

Anyway, I have been reading the forums here and looks like I've finally found a great friendly place to get lot's of help and advice. I can use all the help I can get. The recipes sound awesome! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

Pat

Smile Welcome GIRLMED

I wish you the best of luck. I have also tried LCing before and had trouble
staying to it, but I'm back again and this time I hope for good because I
feel a thousand times better when doing this WOL. ( I seem to have a
weakness for things I "CAN'T" have.)
SO... good luck and the boards are a great place for encouragement!

Default Hi and thanks!!

Hi tmd,

I see you're new too. I appreciate the reply. Yes, I too seem to want the things I am not suppose to have. It's not as bad as it was though. I did have some withdrawal headaches at first, but got over those in a couple of days. I was addicted to cokes and chocolate. It's hard for me to give up the bread. I like toast or sandwiches, etc.

Anyway, thanks again and I think we've found a great place for encouragement. I sure can use a push or something to get me motivated.

Pat
