Question can anyone give me some snack ideas?

I'm doing wonderful on the Induction phase, I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas for snacks...I eat a hard boiled egg or a couple slices of cheese...but is there anything else that any of you have for snacks? Just wondering because I'm sure I'm going to get sick of hard boiled eggs. I don't think I will ever get sick of cheese...hehehe. Thank you for any ideas.

hugs

Snacks that I have had since I started:

Deli meat (right now I have some corned beef I am using) rolled around a spoonfull of cream cheese.

Deli meat rolled around a small piece of cheese

Celery stalks dipped in cream cheese

Just plain cheese

Chicken breast that I cooked previously, smothered in hot sauce and sliced into small squares.

A few notes about these:

1) Be very careful with the deli meats, they often have sugar in them. The corned beef was low, chicken and turkey are both very low, but ham is often hard to find that isn't "Honey-Glazed" or "Canadian Maple" or "Sugar Cured."

2) Cheese and cream cheese do have carbs in them, so you can eat all of them you want. Any day I have gone over my personal carb goal has been a day that I ate cheese

1. cut up veggies (peppers, broccoli, celery, anything that you like) and dip in ranch.

2. pork rinds (i dip them in cream cheese, sounds wierd i know)

3. jello (sugar free)...but be careful, the artificial sweetener doesn't get along with some people

4. beef jerky

5. pepperoni/summer sausage and cheese and pickles

hope that helps some...

good luck

The Sugar free cherry jello with 16 oz. creme cheese. MMMMM Cherry cheesecake without the crust, except it tastes a little funny on a sppon. LOL

Default LC Chocolate Mousse.

Whip a box of SF instant pudding (some have fewer carbs than others) with heavy whipping cream. Voila! Chocolate mousse! It's REALLY RICH... I can't eat very much of it at a sitting. That's probably a good thing, because it's not carb-free, just low-carb.

One of my favorites is naked hot wings with blue cheese for dipping. I also enjoy deviled eggs. Queen Bee

Default Snack

Rachel Ray did a low-carb meal on "Thirty Minute Meals" on Food TV the other day. She substituted cucumber slices for crackers. I think that's a great idea!

I also use the LS/LF instant pudding. I mix it up with half and half (use less than the 2 cups to make it thicker) Then I beat in some sour cream, peanut butter(just a little), and cool whip. This is to die for! It does have some carbs, but when I need to lose my angle wings and dig in with my pitch fork, it works (and the consequences are less severe than some other stuff I could choose.) You can experiment with vanilla (goes well with some mandarine oranges mixed in) or chocolate. I put this delight in fancy wine glasses and cill. Makes me feel like a queen when I dig in. mmmmmmmm Also I snack on mixed nuts. I need the fiber and the protein is good. I find that just a little works to satisfy. And of course, the pork rinds, are the bomb!!!
