Yesterday I had planned to do strength training but as I'm still in Induction, my energy is kind of low. So I went for a 3 mile walk. I was hot and slow.
I need to find a new gym. I currently go to the campus gym for the school I work at and it's a great facility. However, it's so crowded on weeknights when school is in session that it's practically unusable, they just instituted a towel "checkout/in" policy*, and after I paid for summer use, I learned that it's closed all next week. Eff this noise.
*You have to ask for a towel, wait while the staff member logs a towel to your account, and you're charged a "late fee" if you don't bring it back in time.
Tuesday I did a full body strength session: squats, straight leg deadlifts (until my hamstrings cramped, then I switched to sumo squats), calf raises, 1 arm rows, chest press, lateral raise, lying triceps extension and crunches.
