Question San Fransisco

Hi all,

I will be visiting the states for the first time next week, but unfortunately will only be around for 30 hours in San Fran.

I was hoping to buy some sugar free DaVinci syrups and maybe some other low carb stuff that I can't get in Hong Kong.

Any ideas where I can get the syrup.

Thanks,

Kate

I don't know of a specific store there (I live in the VERY south Bay Area), but maybe you could try a search on the Davinci site, for vendors in the area.

Trader Joes has some LC stuff, like LC tortillas breads and lots of chocolate items, if you can stand s/a.

Hi Rosie,

Had a FANTASTIC time!!! 30 hours just didn't cut it though!

Unfortunately I only managed to find a GNC store so wasn't able to get the more "unusual" low carb supplies but got some Atkins stuff fairly cheap (compared to home!)

We hired a car and had an explore around town...can't wait to go back for a better look!

Yes, way too much to do in that fair city. I had lived in the bay area up until my early 20's and I find things all the time I have never done. I moved to Southern US and tried to do as much as possible. Now that I am back in Ca, I find so much to do again. I guess that comes form being an adult now with more varying interests.
Sure would love to go to Hong Kong tho'. I am in love with the food, must be hard to resist all those dumplings and handmade noodles they have there.

HI Rosie,

I have been looking for other folks in The Bay Area. I know of a free support group that has meetings at the Saratoga library on the second Tuesday of every month I think. Do you know about a low carb store in Los Altos? It has everything! The people who work there are really knowlodgable too. It is in the shopping center where Andronico's is. I can't remember what it's called...something Gourmet. Let me know if you check it out.
