Question Cardio and feeling faint

I'm new to this and in my 3rd week of BFL. I'm doing a LC diet. I got up this morning and did Cardio on the elliptical for 25 min, I increased intensity a little. I felt faint afterwards and even a little faintish now (3 hours after).

You probably should run it by your doctor if you are still feeling faint three hours later. Lots of water might help, and your carbs may be a little too low for intense cardio workouts - I bumped my carb intake up when I started the BFL workouts a few weeks ago. Because I've really not done much cardio at all over the past few years I'm really slowly easing into it also. I started at 10 minutes and I'm only increasing the intensity gradually and for very short spurts and I'm not pushing it to anything that keeps me breathing hard for more than a minute. That and I'm over 40 and well I think I have to get my heart used to the idea of exercise.

Good luck and talk to your Doc

I've found that I feel faint sometimes after an intense workout, and for me it's usually when I haven't had enough carbs and my blood sugar level drops too low.

Although many benefit from the fat-burning benefit of exercise on an empty stomach, I have concluded that for me about 3/4 cup full fat yogurt before workout gives me enough carbs to get through it strong. I do not benefit from getting my blood sugar down to 30 or so and taking hours to get my brain back in gear.
