Eddie, I think it is spelled glucocil and not glucosil....
I think the downside of this product is two-fold:
One, it is marketed as a safe alternative, which it may be, but it is hyped up for marketing purposes, thus, I'm sure to get this combination pill is costing a high mark-up for the quantity of each ingredient that is in it.
Two, with a combo pill, there isn't a flexibility with the mixed ingredients. One diabetic could very well get same good results as another diabetic would if one or more of those ingredients were taken at a different level.
I've not seen the amounts of each ingredient included in the pill, but if it is like other similar combo pills, I'm sure it will lack a little of something.
From my experience with herbs, combining is like getting something custom made. What works with a particular combination for one person will probably not have a similar measured success with another. It is not to say the ingredients won't work, just that particular combination might not be suitable for some people. Factors such as; metabolism, body weight, age, overall current health, activity, diet, etc.. will have an influence on what dosage is needed.
Herbs are more subtle then prescription drugs and thus more subject to variances in the amounts needed to produce a desired result.
Anyway, that is just my opinion based on my experiences....
