Get the junk and carby stuff out of your house?
If it's not there, you won't be tempted...

Default pack your lunch

Make absolutely sure to pack your lunch (or dinner ...depends on your schedule) so you don't have to rush to the store and try to make good decisions quickly.

And of course write everything down! Every bit that goes into your mouth, write down. Or use Fitday.com or some other food tracking app. What's nice about them is you get an analysis of your full nutrition (all the minerals and vitamins).

If you can, go to bed early. I found that I would snack out of boredom at night, not hunger.

And you might want to avoid going out for dinner/drinks with friends for the first week if you can (it might not be great to start this plan if you've got a bit family function in the next two weeks). I still find following this plan a bit awkward when I go out except maybe at lunch. But try ordering a salad at dinner and oh boy you get comments from the table which bothers me. Maybe you're tougher :^). Good luck.
