It depends on how they prepare it. Falafel is supposed to be made with chickpeas, parsley, onion, garlic, and spices. This should be ok for LCers. You only get the most carbs from check peas. However, some restaurant add breadcrumbs to the mix. You could do it at home it is so easy. Just soak dried checkpeas overnight and then blend the mixture on the blender with your favorite spices. Then shape them into balls and deep fry. yummm I love falafel.
