Thumbs up

Well, Christmas is upon us. How many of you are ready for the evil carb season? Or has it bit you in the backside already? I'm doing my low carb baking tomorrow and Saturday just in case I become tempted by those evil chocolates. Mmmmm chocolates are tasty but so are low carb ones so I'll be safe. I'm not nearly as tempted by pastas and breads anymore but I still plan on partaking of a bit of my dh's dressing!

Default Stuffing

Gopher, I know that stuffing is the hard one to pass for me. The buns and the bread on their own don't bother me, but add some onions and spices to them....and it's so hard to say no...so I'll confess I'm going to have a little stuffing for Christmas dinner. The potatoes are easy to pass on as well. I'm making brunch again this year so I'll have lots of salads, veggies and quiche. In my group I have a couple of low carbers, one vegetatarian and the rest are high carbers. I started a tradition of doing Christmas brunch a couple years ago, and I love it. Season's greetings.

Thumbs up Precautions

I made up a batch of l/c fudge yesterday & purchased some Atkins bars in case I get the urge to indulge in the sweets. Last night, we all watched some movies. Kids & dh had chocolate bars & I had made up some s/f pudding w/heavy cream for my snack.
