Cookbook
Would someone please post the name and author of the cookbook?? I would like to check into getting it and want to make sure I am getting the one that everyone is recommeding. Thanks!!
I bought the cookbook before I even read TSP. It is fabulous for any low carber (with some exceptions).
The salad recipes are great and varied. This is what initially attracted me to the cookbook. I also bought a stovetop smoker and I smoke my meats to add to these salads. It is "to die for". I'd choose that over anything with sugar.
I also have to say that the BBQ Rib recipe is very good. However, I slow cook my ribs for 5 hours and then just pop them on the BBQ for about 10 minutes. This makes them very tender and the meat falls off the ribs. The BBQ sauce is really awesome.
I have learned the hard way that if I am going to adopt a different WOE then I have to bring variety into my meals. The only thing that makes me cheat is if I don't plan different meals. It requires organization more than time.

Slow cooking the ribs is a great way to cut down on the BBQ grill time! I always boil mine, since I often am in and out and can't let the oven on when I leave. Boiling them first also makes them tender, as long as ya don't over cook them. Just a thought.
I cooked the Chicken Cordon Bleu (p 226-trace carbs) Once I got all the ingredients in the house, it was really easy to prepare. It's the type of meal that is so gourmet, that the other family members can easily enjoy it.
