Default 13 weeks to lose 50lbs... CHALLENGE ON!

I'm not what you would call large, more 'chunky'. I'm not very tall either, and have two jobs so not got much time to be active.

Starting from Monday (give me chance to get the shopping in!) I'm gonna be preparing myself for the induction period of the Atkins diet, and organising my exercise schedule - hopefully consisting of skipping frequently to raise my heartbeat, then cross trainer, weights & treadmill. Perhaps stepper too.

Gym 3 times a week also.

Any tips, hints or advice before I start? I have quite a sweet tooth

Hi sheree I'm on atkins to. my second time around. After 4 years I started regaining so I just got back on induction before I gained it all back. Is this your first time doing atkins? Make sure you get the book. DANDR is the best. The newer versions written after he died is as good. I don't see alot of people having success with it. Make sure you follow the book, drink plenty of water. Induction is hard as your body starts to detox from all the bad junk in your system. But after a week you start feeling great. It's a great healty way to learn to eat. Anything help you need just ask. You'll be looking great by summer
