I STARTED ON JANUARY 1ST AT 190LBS AND 13.5% BODY FAT. AS OF FEB 21ST, I AM NOW 190LBS AND 8.5%. I EAT A REALLY CLEAN DIET OF REALLY HIGH PROTEIN( 250-300 GRAMS) AND MODERATE CARB DIET(200 GRAMS OF CARBS). i AM TRYING THE NO CARB DIET FOR A WHILE TO REALLY SHED FAT AND GET CUT, BUT I AM CONCERNED WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER I STOP. WILL IT ALL GO BACK ON IF I DO WHAT I WAS DOING BEFORE. ALSO, IS THIS DIET JUST FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE A LOT TO LOSE OF CAN IT BE USED TO LOSE THAT LAST LITTLE BIT. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE A BIG HELP. THANKS. BRIAN

Wow,

I can't believe noone has responded to you yet!

This isn't a diet that you can go on to lose a few pounds and then go off. Lo-carb is a lifestyle change. It is a recognition of the harm that processed grains and sugars has done o your body. If you go lo-carb for a while and then go off completely, you will absolutely gain the weight back. I know because I've done it!

If you are already doing well with your present way of eating and exercise program, you might want to make very small but permanent changes. Like switch to whole grain instead of processed grains. Or eat less pasta. My brother never dieted ever. However, he was really gaining a lot of weight, so he cut out soda. That was all it took. He gradually lost 20 pounds!!

Good luck!
