Hi my name is Kris and I'm a college student. Just wanted to introduce myself, I've tried Atkins before with success over the summer, but its soooo hard to do on a college campus, especially with the dining halls. It becomes really expensive and the midnight pizza temptations end up taking their toll. I was just wondering if there were any other college low carbers & if so any advice?

Good luck everyone with whatever diet you're on!

Hey there. I am in my second year of college now, and living on campus. It is hard, I'll admit, but just think of how much healthier you are eating than your roommates who are all getting mac and cheese and pizza for every meal! Best of luck, and feel free to visit my journal if you want to chat!

I'd have to agree! I got down to 143 before I went away to college and then gained close to 30 pounds in that first year! My last year I did have less trouble. I kept the mini-fridge stocked with eggs, cream, veggies, deli meats, etc.
