Was there ever a geekier name for a gym log?

Anyway. I've just moved into an apartment complex with a weight room, so I'm finally going to get out there and start exercising, for the first time since high school.

I've started the Couch to 5K running plan. So far I've done one day. It was hard. I very much need to learn to stretch properly; my legs still hurt all over, especially my shins. And ... that's it so far. Gotta start somewhere, right?

Wow. This log is so sad and empty. I'm such a couch potato. Ugh.

Yesterday I walked three miles -- it was to get to a sci-fi meeting, but it was still quite a workout! I'm getting my bike tomorrow, so at least I'll be biking to work on the weekends.

But I need to start lifting, I need to exercise more often, I need to learn to stretch ... I need, I need, I need. </feeling sorry for myself>

The hardest thing to do was to start exercising regularly. I was/am a couch potato too. I know how you feel. But when you do start weight lifting you will become hooked. If you're looking for a good beginner's w/lifting program, check out Built's gym log.

You can ask the moderators to change the name of this gym log, just give them a new name.
