Hi Robert - glad to see this thread as I've just popped into this section - I was going to ask about eggs!

I had read somewhere in some online low-carb site that eggs are nearly 100% assimilated by the body - with no waste. Do you know anything about that?

So eggs, if digested in 30 min or so - are like fruit, and I'm wondering if it might be a strategy to eat a few eggs half an hour before a carb meal to get the benefits of fullness from the protein ... I have a carb lunch tomorrow, maybe I'll try it and eat a few eggs before.

Also I wonder if eggs are so easily digested when combined with carbs - say, eggs and toast? What do you think?

I've heard in some food combining lit. that yogurt is very easily digestible and so a free food for combining - ie., can go with fruits, meat or grains... could eggs be similar?
