I highly recommend two books on sleep. From best to second best:
Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams, by Matthew Walker (2017)
and
Lights Out: Sleep, Sugar, and Survival, by by T.S. Wiley, Bent Formby (2000).
Essential reading.
