I'm a PP follower originally. It's been nice over the years to see more people coming around to the idea of eating sufficient protein. Most people who are following "keto" these days are talking about how much is sufficient, Virta Health which includes Dr. Westman, is promoting sufficient protein.

I think it may even be going mainstream. My 80-year-old step-mother has even been told that she should be eating much more protein. She just told me that even though the RDA for her age is 49g of protein, she's trying to eat 70g a day--and reducing carbs in response, so she doesn't over eat calories.

I think PP isn't popular as a specific plan anymore, because it's everywhere!

But other than the protein calculation, it's a simple plan, that I really like.
