If some people suffer some of the stuff that your poem lists such as bruising and bleeding gums from not enough vitamin C, muscle aches from not enough calcium and constipation from not enough fiber, doesn't that say there is something seriously lacking in this diet? I was on another board and the Atkins dieters were complaining about their hair falling out. I really wanted to try Atkins, but afer hearing about all these side effects and experiencing some myself when I first tried it, I wondered about the validity of such a plan. I realize that we can take a whole bunch of vitamin pills, but why do that when vitamins are in real foods such as fruit and vegetables?
