When at home:at least 10 minutes a day on the rebounder (1200 steps) & after-lunch walk round the village (3300 steps)

Knee still improving slowly. Took the neoprene brace off one day and revelled in moving briskly and being scarcely aware of it. It did not complain that day, but was not happy the day after. Back to the brace.

The rebounder has been packed away for the forseeable, and replaced with what is probably the world's cheapest manual treadmill. This is for my husband, who has been told to walk briskly for 30 minutes each day but can find any excuse not to, from imperfect weather to not liking the neighbours seeing him do it. The treadmill is incredibly hard work and I cannot see me doing anywhere near 10,000 steps on it.

The great outdoors is currently under a heavy frost, "earth stood hard as iron" as that cheerful carol put it. Paths and roads are icy; freezing fog. Ah well, onwards.
