Oui, c'est vrai. Il y a un numéro magique, plus haut que je grossis, et moins que je maigris.
J'étais inspiré par un article dans le journal en 2006: Voici un extrait:

The study involved only 48 individuals over a period of six months. All were overweight, but not obese - meaning between 25 per cent to 30 per cent of their total body weight was fat.
They were split into four groups: caloric restriction where they consumed 25 per-cent fewer calories than typically considered normal for their size; caloric restriction of 25 per cent, half achieved through diet and half through increased exercise; a very low calorie diet of only 890 calories daily; and a control group.
After six months, those on the very low calorie diet had dropped 14 per cent of their weight, while those in the caloric restriction groups had dropped 10 per cent.
But only those in the caloric restriction groups showed the beneficial changes in their metabolism.
Dr. Smith said that caloric restriction is not the same thing as dieting. When calories are reduced to a reasonable level, over a long period of time, the body learns to use energy more efficiently.
"This is the first demonstration of this conservation of energy and protection of the body by caloric restrictions in humans. We think that's significant," he said.
Dr. Smith said cutting calorie intake by 25 per cent or more is a significant challenge. But he said that, after a short period of adjustment, participants were not hungry.

Franchement, à mon avis, on a besoin de peu de calories qu'on imaginerait. Mais, en même temps, il faut que je mange "bien", c'est-à-dire, comme décrit dans "ProteinPower" qui est la meilleure explication de la nutrition requise pour le corps, que j'ai jamais lue. Avec le maximum de nutrition.
Mais pour moi, ça roule, parce qu'il est le régime normal (je devine) des Français (sauf le pain).
Par exemple, je prends le café avec crème à fouetter épaisse; je sauté tout les volaille, et les poissons en l'huile ou en beurre, et je fais les salades avec l'huile; je me gâte avec le chocolat (Lindt 70% cacao ou Cote d'Or - 54% (je triche…70% est "mieux").
Pour moi c'est plus facile d'éliminer complètement tout les pains et les farines (normales ou alternatives).

Merci pour le compliment à propos de la perte de pois. C'est vrai, j'en suis fière et j'ai la meilleure santé de la vie. Mais, mais, je suis plus à l'aise dans la peau à 5 poids de moins.
